Monticle's Senior Women in Health day retreat was a powerful reminder - some of the best learning comes from each other.

As women navigating leadership roles in healthcare, we face unique challenges and opportunities:

We understand the difficult trade-offs...

... the political complexity...

... what it takes to create change in complex systems in ways that others simply cannot.

ree

We stepped away from our day to day work to focus on important not urgent work

➡️ peer learning

➡️ leadership development

➡️ network strengthening ... to create an energising professional reset

ree

We worked on some big questions:

- how do you mobilise others to create change in complex systems?

- how do you create alignment when stakeholders have competing agendas?

- how do you create space for strategic thinking when the operational demands never ease off?

- how do you lead with authenticity in systems that don't always reward it?

ree

We made real decisions on live challenges. We mapped stakeholder strategies. We drafted 90-day plans. And we reminded ourselves that we're not alone in facing these pressures.

This is what happens when you bring together women who truly understand the work + each other. Focused learning, meaningful connection + mutual support.
